Initial Training for your Computer Animation Career
There are many ways of signaling your unique contribution to animation, including outstanding qualifications and experience. Your computer animation career is based on the level of training that you receive from a full-time program at a university or online school. Your qualification could be a certificate or diploma, or better yet, an associate of bachelor degree. Your final grades on your program are important to your standing in the class as well as your chance of getting a good reference from the academic establishment. A good reference will be very crucial in landing your first job.
Another way of kick-starting your computer animation career is to create a great portfolio of work while still in school. Many colleges and universities encourage students to do interesting and original work during their courses. Many students find sponsors or even paid projects that they can complete during their training. This period in your computer animation career may be the only time that you can express entirely your own ideas in your work. Your portfolio should express the very best of your ideas and the best execution that you can complete.
