New Cartoon Animation Tool for Student Animators
Student animators should be quite pleased with the latest release from Toon Boom Animation, Meet Toon Boom Studio V2.5, for Mac OS X. This cartoon animation tool includes effortless and natural feeling drawing tools, an innovative 3D sceneplanning space and camera, automatic lip synching, and templates to support re-use.
With this release, Toon Boom has also added many new features that will help young animators develop their artistic skills and creative inclinations, including support for scanning (and importing images from all TWAIN devices, including digital cameras!), drawing in the 3D space, improved key frame manipulation and sound scrubbing in the Timeline.
Toon Boom Studio integrates quite well with other tools you might already have in your toolset, including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Macromedia Flash, Apple QuickTime and other editing packages.
