Getting to Animation School was Toughest Step
Getting to this point in his career took a lot of hard work for Hierro. The first obstacle was convincing his father to let him go to animation school. He researched the industry and created a presentation to show his father that this was something he really wanted to do. Hierro’s efforts paid off as his father warily gave him his blessing. Hierro eventually graduated from an animation school and did postgraduate work in computer graphics. His first animation job at Core was making animated characters lips move to the sounds of a song in an ABC cartoon entitled “The Save-Ums.” This job, like many others in his first few years of work, was extremely tedious, but worth it.
Hard Work Pays Off
Like most success stories, Hierro’s hard work at animation school and as an animation lackey paid off. He is now working on other movies and watching his animation career take off.
