More than 27,000 people attended this year's conference, which featured panels and courses on cutting-edge topics in graphics and animation, as well as an extensive exhibition hall including such industry heavyweights as Pixar, PDI Dreamworks, Alias, Softimage, and more. There was also a Computer Animation Festival; "Birthday Boy" was chosen as Best Animated Short, while "Ryan" received the Jury Award.
