JibJab Parodies Kerry & Bush in Hilarious Animated Short
Brothers Gregg and Evan Spiridellis, creators of JibJab Media, have been making the rounds of late with their creative short lampooning presidentail candidates John Kerry and George W. Bush. Their short, set to the tune "This Land Is Your Land" paints George W. Bush as a right wing nut who can't prounounce "Nuclear" while John Kerry is portrayed as a man obsessed with his three, count 'em THREE, purple hearts.
The brothers, who have appeared on THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO, NBC'S TODAY, and CBS' THE EARLY SHOW, apparently made the political parody in hopes of catching the eye of corporate marketing. No word on whether they have landed any business but this is an excellent example of how an aspiring animator can gain exposure in a relatively cost effective manner. Do quality and pertinent work and get it out there for people to see! In this age of email and instant news access, good work about timely topics spreads across the internet faster than George W. Bush can say "Nookuler".
