Gettin' Animated With Outkast
Apparently Andre 3000 of Outkast is working with Cartoon Network to develop a new cartoon for their Adult Swim block. Here's a brief description from the article:
"While still in the early stages, the project is expected to be inspired by the rapper's life or possibly his alter ego, Johnny Vulture, the guitar-playing wildman seen in OutKast's video for the hit single 'Hey Ya!' The special will likely have a musical component similar in style to such off-kilter animated films as 'Cool World' and 'Yellow Submarine.'"
It'll be interesting to see if this actually pans out. With almost any other musician, I'd be fairly skeptical; but Andre 3000 seems just crazy/creative enough to pull something like this off and make it cool.
