Family Guy Returns!
In news that will excite fans of evil genius babies and debonair talking dogs alike, Seth MacFarlane's Family Guy is officially going back into production with at least 22 new episodes next year. Dumped by FOX, resurrected by Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, and gobbled up on DVD by hordes of hungry fans (the #1 selling DVD of last year), the show's first original episodes since 2002 should air on Adult Swim, but FOX also has on option to pick them up. (Maybe FOX will air them first and then they'll move onto Adult Swim? The press release doesn't make it clear how this will work.) Either way, it'll be interesting to see if FOX is less squeamish this time around...
