Enter the CINEME International Animation Festival
CINEME 2004, the "largest 100% animation and digital media festival in the United States", has extended its deadline for early entries to July 1st. (The final deadline is August 1st -- the only difference seems to be price.) There are separate categories for independent and professional/commissioned works, broken down into such sub-categories as short films, experimental, visual effects, student films, web animation, game animation, and more. With $25,000 in cash on the line (not to mention the fame and glory) it's worth putting together an entry.
