Cartoon Network Makes New Acquisition

Cartoon Network Gaining Ground

The creation of the Cartoon Network followed a trend in cable television that saw a number of new networks airing only one specific genre of entertainment. CNN, Comedy Central, and ESPN all fall into this category. Entertainment experts have predicted this trend for years, saying that the era of three or four big networks was over. They ruled the day when cable use was minimal and most people only received those channels over the airwaves.

Now that the Cartoon Network has been around a few years and has gained legitimacy, it is starting to also gain ground on the tradition networks. Kids, knowing that they can always watch cartoons on the Cartoon Network, get used to tuning into that station. This helps the Cartoon Network sell ad spots and gives them a higher operating budget to buy better cartoon series'.

New Cartoon Promises Entertainment Twist

The Cartoon Network's latest acquisition is made with some hi-tech computer animation. It is touted as an action-packed cartoon that offers a new twist on cartoon animation and adventure.
