Commerical Animation Art Stills
Found via the cool kids at Veer, here's a fun and stylish collection of vintage artwork from animated commercials. The black-and-white commercials are among hundreds of cartoons produced by Ray Patin Studios in the 1950s and early 1960s. (Which include a bizarre Jell-O Baby commercial that would probably never see the light of day today.) It's interesting that -- in the early days of television -- animated ads were relatively common, yet today they're almost only seen during children's shows...
